Dogs in the home can do behaviours that dog owners find very frustrating at times. You probably ask your self why is the dog doing this..! I have listed some of the common problems that owners find their dog doing in the home. Do any sound familiar..?

- Door bell rings or letter box bangs and the dog runs to the front door, you then have to restrain the dog whilst opening the door using various parts of your body to stop the dog running out or jumping up at the visitor. Or you just shut the dog out of sight.
- The dog constantly jumps up at visitors when they enter the house
- You are sitting on the sofa, your dog jumps onto the furniture sits by you and places their paw onto you. Your dog then doesn't respond to your commands when you ask it to get off.
- On returning from a walk and the dog is wet, you can't towel him or her dry, and the same goes for grooming them.
- You find that sometimes when you are stroking the dog, they mouth or bite you.
- The dog follows a certain member of the family around and starts to whine and bark when they leave the house.
- You and your partner go and sit on the sofa, just when you are relaxing after a hard day the dog jumps between you and stops any interactions between you both.
- Any passers by the house, the dog jumps up at the window and starts to bark. You can't seem to stop this behaviour.
- The dog is now starting to growl at members of the family, you are really worried about this type of behaviour and are now treading on egg shells around the dog.
