Tip 2

Always help mummy and daddy with the feeding of your dog, stand in front of one of your parents holding your dogs bowl and give the command 'SIT' once your dog sits, and looks at you not your mum or dad then feed him or her. You are now on your way to being a good dog trainer..!

So mum and dad, I bet you are itching for the day your child can take the dog out for a walk. So want some help..! Well kids are you ready for some serious dog training tips on walking your dog to heel..! Well first of all we want mum and dad to take the dog out of the house and let them start walking with the dog. So you, your mum, dad and the dog, are walking nicely and when you see that your dog is walking nicely and not pulling on the lead, you can take the lead or leash and walk along side your parents. Hey before you know it you can walk him all the time with your mum and dad. Mum and dad watch out for busy roads, and other hazards and take the lead if need be..! Don't forget to reward your dog for walking by your side.

Tip 4

So you want to know what are fun dog games...? Well just as you dog is sniffing around you can all have a good game of hide and seek, yes you can even hide from your mum and dad if they let you. Call your dog and once he has found you, then you and your canine friend can go and find mummy and daddy. Sounds good...! This will help to bond with your dog.

Tip 5

Now you are all home and from the walk, you can give your dog a good brush, not only is this good for them, but will help promote a good coat on your dog. Be careful not to over do it, just ten minutes will do... In summer time you can even bath your family dog, just be aware though you could all get wet..!
